Started the morning with a good run with Hannah. Then, went for 9am service. And I managed to catch up with Sarah :) I always enjoy her views cause I can relate with them, just that she's more vocal than me. She helps me see things the bigger picture, and get my thoughts cleared out. Today's no exception! Thanks babe :) ha ha.
Then had a good conversation with Jacob about say wine, his views on issues, and the usual topics which Eve should know too as she gave her input. Evan was there listening intensely, without saying much, in deep thought :) And William, trying to half study half evesdrop. haha I really miss an "all-independent" trip again. Maybe back-packing or suba diving this round! haha remembered that the last trip I went shopping with Priscilla till 12am got them a bit worried. But hey, I'm a big girl now. haha :) opps.
Had a meeting with my mentor till 2. Then it was time for "Who's the boss?" at minds cafe, near Paradiz centre!
Played with William, Evan, Pastor Edwin, Jia Wei and Ben Chan. Really had a great time at minds cafe. And yes BEN CHAN wanted me to mention that he won the second game. haha Well I won the third and Jia Wei the first. And BEN CHAN kept on saying "beware of the bussiness people". Well, JW's in business and I in accounts, apparently, he's right. haha. No la, I'm a nice girl who makes honest deals really:p Pastor got trashed real hard. haha and William, such a nice guy - a social worker to be, no wonder very hard to make money and clinch deals with others. haha. Perhaps it was unfortunate his strategy didnt work out :) Haven't had such a bonding with the youths and young adults in a long time. Was quite cool, after 2 hours, most wanted to head for dinner but William and Evan wanted to stay on and play. I suppose Uni kids like us have really different lifestyles from that. "Taking life easy" quoted from Ben Chan, seems so foreign from my dictionary. I tend to worry too much. I suppose when you get older, there are just more responsibilities to take up and you tend to expect more. I conclude that it's important to strike a balance between enjoying life and worrying too much :) Was a great day!
